Step 1:
(Verse 1) Keeping the steady beat, pound one fist in the air as if you were using a hammer
Step 2:
(Verse 2) Add your other hand and pound 2 fists in the air
Step 3:
(Verse 3) Add one foot by stomping it on the floor to the beat
Step 4:
(Verse 4) Add your other foot and march on the floor
Step 5:
(Verse 5) Add your head and nod to the beat
Step 6:
("Then he goes to sleep") Rest your head in your hands and pretend to fall asleep

Hammer with blocks and : Starting with one block on the floor, hammer to the beat of the first verse "Johnny works with 1 hammer", then for each additional verse (Johnny works with 2/3/4... hammers) add a block to hammer on top.
