A fun and easy way to boost your mood with a little self-appreciation! Stand in front of a mirror, do a double take, then give yourself an over-the-top compliment - whether it’s about your elbows, your confident stance, or just how awesome you are today.

Take it up a notch by adding a wink, a cheesy pick-me-up line, or even a power pose. End with a twirl and a confident strut away, like the main character you are.

A perfect way to inject a little joy and playfulness into your daily routine, whether you're starting the day, resetting in the afternoon, or winding down at night.

  • Step 1:

    Step in front of a mirror and pause. Do a double take like you’ve just spotted someone amazing (because you have).

  • Step 2:

    Smile, wink, or raise an eyebrow - whatever makes it feel fun!

  • Step 3:

    Give yourself a random, exaggerated compliment. It could be about your outfit, your posture, or even something totally unexpected like, “Wow, these elbows are looking fabulous today.”

  • Step 4:

    Whisper a cheeky pick-me-up line to yourself, e.g., “I’m treating you to coffee today. You deserve it.”

  • Step 5:

    Finish with a twirl, a power pose, and a strut away like you own the place. Don’t forget the confident over-the-shoulder glance as you go!

  • Affirmation remix: Swap the random compliments for empowering affirmations like, "I am strong, capable, and hilarious."

  • Hype crew: Do this with a friend, partner, or family member, taking turns to throw each other compliments.

  • Dance It out: Add music and finish your mirror moment with a signature move.
