Helping women reconnect with their inner child to rediscover joy
Remember when you were little and would proudly wear gumboots with a princess dress, or layer on every necklace you could find? This idea is about bringing that same playful energy back.
Instead of getting caught up in what’s “appropriate” or “stylish,” let your inner child choose. Stand in front of your wardrobe as if it’s the first time you’ve ever seen it. Ask your Inner Child what she loves. Notice what draws you in, a bold colour, a fun print, an accessory, or something you’ve been saving for a “special occasion.” By dressing up for no other reason than joy, you’re giving yourself permission to play and to be seen.
This can feel freeing and fun, but it can also be deeply connecting: when you honour the childlike part of you that just wants to express, you model confidence and self-acceptance for your kids too.
Open your wardrobe (or accessories drawer)
Let your inner child pick one item that feels fun, bold, or different
Put it on and wear it - whether around the house, on errands, or just for yourself
Mini stylist: Ask your child to pick an outfit for you!
Wear together: Get the kids involved and take a fabulous photo together
Clash on purpose: Try clashing colours or unexpected combos - like socks with sandals, glitter with gym gear
Share it: Share your outfit with a friend or in a community space to inspire others to play too
