Materials
Prep
Step 1:
Tape the paper to the floor, wall, or table.
Step 2:
Set out a small tray or container with art supplies.
Step 3:
Optionally, pick a theme to prompt with (e.g. "Let’s draw a town" or “decorate this path”).
Play
Step 1:
Explore and create however you like
Step 2:
Sit nearby with your own doodle or coffee - or jump in and create together.
Step 3:
Snap a pic if you like - then roll it up for another day or recycle it. It's a great option for DIY wrapping paper!
Extend
Theme play: Create roads, tracks, oceans, or imaginary maps.
Story time: Draw characters or scenes from their favourite book.
Prewriting practice: Provide letters, shapes, numbers or stencils to trace around and help develop their early writing skills
Reuse & Recycle: - Use the back for another round or turn it into gift wrap.
