Fun for: Preschoolers, BigKids, Grownups

We tend to send a card to someone twice a year, for birthdays and Christmas. Why not send a card when you are thinking of them, when they have launched something in business, when you are proud of them, or when they have simply crossed your mind and made you smile.

Susan @ Inner Child Joy

Helping women reconnect with their inner child to rediscover joy

Who says cards are only for special occasions? This one's all about slowing down to create and connect. Take a blank card or scrap of cardboard, grab some stickers, washi tape, or pens, and turn it into a little burst of joy for someone who’s crossed your mind.

Send a note to say you’re proud of them, cheering them on, or simply thinking of them. It could be a friend, a family member, or even a card to your future or younger self. The act of making something by hand - with no pressure to make it perfect - can feel grounding and restorative.

This playful, creative gesture reminds us that connection doesn’t need a calendar - it just needs a spark of kindness and a few minutes of your time.
